Cody Eakin (born May 24, 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). Eakin was selected by the Washington Capitals in the 3rd round (85th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. ==Playing career== Prior to turning professional, Eakin played major junior hockey in the Western Hockey League where he was twice named to the WHL (East) Second All-Star Team. Eakin scored his first career NHL playoff goal on April 23, 2014 against Frederik Andersen of the Anaheim Ducks.
